Teeth whitening tooth paste: Whitening toothpastes can help remove upper-layer stains only and do not contain bleach; over-the-counter and professional whitening products contain carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide that helps lighten the color deep in the tooth.

Whitening strips and gels: Whitening strips is now very common in all medical stores. Teeth whitening strips may take longer to produce the desired results depending on the strength of peroxide that they contain.

Whitening rinses: Rinses are something different. This is a new product in the market. Rinses are similar to mouth wash which you can take a complete mouth full and keep it for 2-3 minutes in mouth and spit it out. Though this may give you fresh breathe and help reduce dental plaque and gum disease, but it not effective as other whitening methods.

You can improve the appearance of discolor in teeth:

  • Stopping smoking
